Suspension Tuning

Dedion Tube

Now that the plumbing was installed, it was time to move onto assembling the rear suspension and driveshaft components.

I started with preparing and then installing the read Dedion Tube. To prepare it, I widened the holes in the Dedion Tube using a ⅛” drill bit. I then riveted the copper brake hose onto the tube. One of the brake hoses required some padding, so I cut some excess rubber hose and covered the brake hose with it.

I then attempted to install it from the driver’s side as shown in the manual. I tried for a bit, but it kept catching on the rear differential, so I installed it from the passenger’s side, which worked much better. For now the tube rests on the chassis.
